The city's Exhibition Center and Trade Fair complex is one of the most important in the world. Abroad Fiera Milano is a prestigious window for the MADE IN ITALY products of the world and has 43 offices in 67 foreign countries. Fiera Milano has two fair areas: fieramilanocity and fieramilano in Rho, which is a new fairground in the north-western suburb (opened in April 2005). This is Europe's largest open construction project and makes Fiera Milano the largest trade fair complex in the world. Fiera Milano organizes exhibitions and conferences while hosting multiple different promotional shows for the industry. Visitors can enjoy a series of services, including: 52 bars, 7 restaurants and 9 self service caffès. Foreign visitors may be welcomed at Malpensa and Linate airport and a bus runs from one end of the fiarground to the other. There are more than 4500 places to park your car and visitors can also use the San Siro car park, which is taxied to the fairground by bus. Finally, Fiera Milano offers the Centro Servizio in Piazzale Italia where visitors can find banks, travel agencies, pharmacies, car rentals, a large kiosk and much more. The new Fiera
It is the biggest industrial city of Italy, situated in the area of the ex refinery of Rho Pero. Because of its size, more than one exhibition display at the same time. The New Fiera has many different industrial sectors such as: manufacturing of textiles and garments, car manufactory, chemistry, mechanical tools and heavy machinery. Another important industry is tourism and of course fashion. Milan is the centre of the large book and music publishing industry, and it is the principal stock exchange of Italy. If you want to visit the New Fiera you will find multiple car parks, shops and hotels, and the whole area is surrounded by a park of 9 hectares. The New Fiera is easily reached by:

Since Milan is the city of fashion, it houses many of the most famous designers. Giorgio

Other popular and successful businesses include: Bugatti, whose name representes genious in innovation within the automotive world; Pirelli, the rubber company founded in 1872 which paved the road for the creation of many iron steel and manufacturing plants; and finally- Telecom Italia, which is the biggest telephone company in Italy. Concerning the press "Il Corriere della sera" is the most important daily in Milan and "la Gazzetta dello sport" is the ufficial paper regarding sports, while "il Sole 24 ore" replaced the "Financial Times" as the most important financial periodical in Italy. Milan is also the city of television thanks to Mediaset company which runs the commercial tv stations.
