World Expo in Italy

In the period after the union of Italy, some of the largest Italian cities weree protagonists of national specialised Expo, such as Florence in 1861, Turin in 1884 and so on during the years, until the International Expo 1892 in Turin. But for the first Universal Exposition in Italy we have to wait until 1906, when the World Expo in Milan took place. Since there, different exposition were organized in our country (especially sectorial expos) that marked the economical, social and political history of Italy.
